Covid/Flu Safety

We each have a responsibility to communicate and work together to ensure the wellbeing of all of us, future clients and our greater community included. Please familiarize yourself with these procedures to help mitigate our risk against communicable infections.

I ask that you call me to discuss best options if in the previous 5 days to your session you have had:

  • A fever of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or above

  • Any respiratory or flu symptoms, sore throat, or shortness of breath

  • Contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19, has coronavirus-type symptoms, or is otherwise ill from a contagious or potentially contagious pathogen

  • Loss of taste or smell

  • A positive test for COVID-19

Please reach out if any of the above situations apply to you so we can discuss cancellation or alternative accommodations like testing and/or masking. If you experience any of the above situations in the two weeks following your appointment with me, please reach out so that I can track my own exposure.

Additional Protective Measures

I am vaccinated and I’ve had covid.

Clients interested in receiving a vaccine can check their eligibility and schedule an appointment through this link.

By request, I am happy to wear a KN95 face mask at all times during your session.

Clients are not required to mask at this time. Those who would like to mask are welcome to. While face down, clients have the option of breathing into a freshly laundered pillow case that extends from the face cradle to the floor.

By request, there can be a HEPA air purifier with UV light running at all times before, during, and after your massage. This will cause some white noise.

There can be a quarter hour break between clients in which time the air purifiers will be on full power.

Hard surfaces can be disinfected immediately before your appointment by request.

While I do everything I can to create a safe massage space, it’s impossible at this time to ensure complete protection against covid, cold or flu transmission.

Clients are welcome to ask me to take a rapid test before their appointment for a $12 fee (or for free when I have extra tests).

If any of the above guidelines or procedures aren't followed or if Therapist or Client feel unsafe at anytime during the session, the session may be cancelled by either party, penalty free.

My business will be respecting the openings and closures of massage therapy businesses as outlined by the Mayor and the Governor. I may need to close for additional time periods if I feel that necessary to the safety of myself or clients. The expiration date of all purchases will be adjusted to account for studio closure periods. Thank you for your patience as we navigate these public health protocols.
